I’m a professional prop, puppet, mask, and furniture artisan based in Indianapolis, IN. Currently, I’m on staff at Indiana Repertory Theatre where I create props and furniture for our seasonal productions.

My story begins when I was asked to help take down some scenery for my high school and now almost 30 years later I’m still finding myself creating art for the theater world.

Throughout the years I’ve made all sorts of things and worked in numerous places but one thing has remained, I’ve always prided myself on the love I’ve put into the problem-solving and details that each prop required. In fact, I’ve eagerly sought out these props just to try things I’ve never done before. And so it’s with this love of working on odd creations that I find myself never without a project or two, or three, lurking in my garage.

And although I enjoy the complexity of problem-solving and engineering, I’m also at peace with woodworking and upholstery and sculpting. As you look through my work you’ll notice I’m a lover of almost all crafts and find myself consistently studying different skills. However, what doesn’t show is that I’m driven to create props so that I can learn and pass that knowledge on to others. So to that end, I’m always learning, ever a student and therefore my journey will never be complete. Stay tuned for more as I continue to learn and evolve in this world.

Enjoy my work and thank you for visiting.
